Louisa began practising Iyengar Yoga in 2003, “I started going to a weekly Iyengar Yoga class in Bristol. A couple of years later I found I was still practising…in a different place…yoga was the only constant in my life. I realised that Yoga gave me peace of mind. I felt less stressed…work became really overwhelming. It was thanks to Yoga that my mind kept things in perspective. When I practised yoga I felt truly and deeply relaxed. I was able to sleep better and restore my energy.”
India – 2009 – Louisa was inspired by Yoga practices during an ashram retreat. On returning to UK she dived into the BWY (British Wheel of Yoga) Foundation Course with Mara Musso.
2011 – South East London – Louisa discovered a local and highly respected yoga teacher, Jean Hall, who became her mentor during the two year Triyoga Teacher Training Programme.
Currently living in West Byfleet, Surrey, Louisa has set up a gorgeous private studio and teaches regular Morning and Evening Hatha Yoga classes. Louisa also teaches a range of classes The Dorking Yoga Centre including; Hot Yoga, Restorative/Gentle Yoga, Beginners and Improvers.
Hatha Yoga sessions include a combination of breathing techniques, meditation and challenging, standing and balancing poses.

Classes are suitable for everyone and for all levels. Absolute beginners are welcome.
Class sizes are small (maximum 7)
Louisa is a fully accredited British Wheel of Yoga Teacher, holds a First Aid Certificate and is fully insured.
