Louisa began practising Iyengar Yoga in 2003…”I began my yoga journey with a weekly Iyengar Yoga class. A couple of years later I found I was still practising…in a different place…yoga was the only constant in my life. I realised that Yoga gave me peace of mind. I felt less stressed…work became really overwhelming and it was thanks to Yoga that I kept things in perspective. When I practised yoga I felt truly and deeply relaxed. I was able to sleep better and restore my energy.”
Following a trip to India in 2009, where she was inspired by her experience in an ashram, Louisa intensified her yoga practice on her return to the UK and completed a BWY (British Wheel of Yoga) Foundation Course.
After moving to South East London, Louisa discovered a local and highly respected yoga teacher, Jean Hall, who became her mentor during the Triyoga Teacher Training Programme in 2011. She has also been influenced by Lisa Moule, a creative and well established teacher in Brockley, South East London.
Now, relocated in leafy West Byfleet, Surrey – Louisa has set up a gorgeous home studio and teaches regular Monday and Tuesday Evening Hatha Yoga classes as well as teaching at The Dorking Yoga Centre and running private workshops and retreats.
Louisa also teaches Mother and Baby Yoga.
Classes for Mums are designed to strengthen the pelvic floor muscles. Standing poses build core strength and relieve back pain and shoulder tension.
Mother and Baby Yoga classes provide an opportunity for Mums to relax and bond with their babies.
Hatha Yoga sessions include a combination of breathing techniques, meditation and challenging, standing and balancing poses.

Classes are suitable for everyone and for all levels.
Louisa is a fully accredited British Wheel of Yoga Teacher, holds a First Aid Certificate and is fully insured.
